Syracuse Hancock International Airport is Central New York’s gateway to the world and an economic engine for the region. CenterState CEO members recognize the importance of convenient, competitive air service. SYR serves more than two million passengers annually from communities across Central New York. With seven national airlines serving 30 non-stop destinations, the airport continues to grow its service capabilities and direct flight options and increase its enplanements yearly. The airport is operated by the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA).

CenterState CEO, in partnership with the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority, works directly with airlines to attract new flights, reduce fares and promote use of the airport. CenterState CEO members have also advocated for several key business amenities at the airport, such as free Wi-Fi, laptop stations, expedited TSA PreCheck lanes, and parking enhancements, including the SYRiously® Fast Express Parking Program that uses EZ Pass payment options.

Recent large-scale renovations completed at the airport have elevated the passenger experience. Major improvements include a streamlined layout and new interior and exterior materials and furnishings to give passengers a more modern, functional, and welcoming space. Passengers can also choose from a number of convenient dining options. A number of new amenities are already enhancing the travel experience, including the Pets Easing Travelers (PET) program, which brings certified therapy dogs to the terminal to help ease travel anxiety for nervous fliers and their families. Two baby care rooms provide needed private spaces for families with infants to feed and care for their babies. A pet relief room post security allows travelers with animals to meet their pets’ needs without going back through security.
