CenterState CEO's Economic Inclusion work is dedicated to advancing community prosperity in collaboration with a network of diverse community, business and government partners by supporting the economic empowerment of people through workforce and business and neighborhood development. It advances these goals by developing strategies, convening partners and marshaling resources to achieve collective impact.

These partnerships and initiatives seek to translate economic growth into economic opportunity, increased wealth, and improved quality of life within low-income communities - ultimately creating thriving communities through increased prosperity for all Central New York residents.

This work includes:

• Developing workforce solutions that meet the hiring needs of local employers while creating career opportunities for un-and-underemployed residents;
• Empowering neighborhood-based, minority and other underserved entrepreneurs and business owners;
• Supporting local community leaders in their efforts to stabilize and revitalize distressed neighborhoods, towns and villages; and
• Contributing to the transformation of low-income communities by attracting economic investment and adding jobs within or near targeted geographic areas.
