Events & Advertising Coordinator

Support the coordination of all CenterState CEO events and execute advertising and sponsorship sales projects in support of CenterState CEO brand recognition and revenue generation goals. Duties include supporting event planning, coordination, and execution, as well as developing and selling advertising packages for various events, platforms, and communications.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the coordination of CenterState CEO events, both internally and externally as well as execute strategic advertising and sponsorship projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support event coordination and production including assisting with various activities related to event planning.
  • Provide event as well as training and education program support, including assisting with registration, seating charts, set up and break down of events and managing virtual activities.
  • Collaborate with team leads to create and sell advertising and sponsorships for events, programs and communications and ensure sponsors receive proper recognition.
  • Lead sales meetings with clients, showcasing marketing opportunities and fostering relationships.
  • Provide detailed reports on sponsorship performance and analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in advertising, sales or events.
  • Equivalent combinations of experience and education will be considered. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed.

Physical and Mental Requirements: 

  • Close mental and visual attention required to perform work, verbal communication, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
  • General office equipment is used.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and push and/or pull up to 20-pound loads at a time relative to event-based equipment.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time. 

Work Environment:

There is no exposure to known adverse environmental conditions.  Work is performed in a typical office work environment.
