Company News: Andrew Jordan and Emma Spector Hired by CenterState CEO

CenterState CEO announced it has hired two new employees.

As membership manager within the business and economic development division, Andrew Jordan is responsible for ensuring members receive valuable support and engagement. In this new role he will identify opportunities for increased membership involvement, and support members through networking events and community involvement. Most recently, he served as control clerk at the Syracuse City Hall permit office where he assisted the public in obtaining various business licenses, permits and certificates. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Bonaventure University.

As program coordinator, Emma Spector supports the daily operations of the GENIUS NY business accelerator, including administrative reporting of program activities and outcomes, tracking the performance of GENIUS NY companies, and facilitating the delivery of programming, events and resources. Additionally, she supports the program marketing, applicant recruitment and application review. Most recently she served as a constituent service and intergovernmental affairs coordinator for the City of Syracuse, where she provided support to various constituent-facing projects, such as the implementation of SYRCityline and the city’s LGBTQ+ advisory board. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Dickinson College with a bachelor of arts degree in political science, French and francophone studies. She also holds a certificate d’etudes politiques from Sciences Po Toulouse.
