Oswego Health Golf Tournament

(Oswego, NY – April 1, 2024) As a nonprofit community healthcare system, Oswego Health counts on additional support from generous donors to help deliver outstanding medical care throughout Central New York.

Embarking on its 37th year, proceeds from the annual Oswego Health golf tournament are used to directly impact patient care and ensure exceptional healthcare services are offered in the community. In 2023, the tournament raised over $143,000 for the healthcare system.

Oswego Health is pleased to announce that Burritt Motors will continue to serve as the hole in one sponsor for the tournament this year on June 3rd at the Oswego Country Club.

“We truly appreciate the support received from the community and our local business partners,” shared Michele Hourigan, Director of Business and Community Development for the Oswego Health Foundation. “As a nonprofit community healthcare system, we count on support from generous supporters, to help us deliver the outstanding medical care our patients and community deserve. Proceeds from this golf tournament will directly impact care in our community.”

As a nonprofit healthcare system, Oswego Health invests every penny of income over expenses in caring for the community. Based on a recent report from the Healthcare Association of New York State, Oswego Health, with an annual payroll of $88 million, generated $273 million in economic activity for the region, translating into $33 million in tax dollars generated. Also, Oswego Health annually provides $21 million as part of a community investment project to provide care to the uninsured, the underinsured and the indigent.

Area businesses or community members interested in participating in this year’s tournament should contact Michele Hourigan at the Oswego Health Foundation at 315-326-3788 or email mhourigan@oswegohealth.org.
